Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal Craft Collaboration - Week 1

Hi Everyone, 

I am hosting a YouTube craft collaboration in order to raise money for the Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal. I have a group of talented crafters sharing their makes .. if you are interested please check out my youtube channel  

Marie Curie help Cancer Patients and those with terminal illness, they offer both practical and emotional support to people when they find themselves in the most difficult of times.

As part of my fundraising I have created a series of digi images these will be available in March Only.

Polkadoodles Wishes

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to pop by and let you know that I have stepped down from the Polkadoodles Design team, it was a very emotional decision to make and so I have been in hiding for a few weeks.

I wanted to say a huge Thank You to Nikky for having me on her team, she is an amazing kind hearted and creative lady & it has been such a privilege to be on her team. Thank you for believing in me and giving me confidence in my creative abilities, this has been and will continue to be one of the best chapters in my creative journey.

A huge thank you to all my teamies too, you were amazing, and I miss you all, sorry I slipped away quietly but I couldn't cope with the goodbyes at the time …I'm sure we will be in contact lots I will still be on the lookout for all your gorgeous and inspiring makes.

I have been a huge fan of Polkadoodles before becoming part of the DT ( seriously I have a mahoosive stash of CD's and Stamps that I bought !!! ) & I will continue to be a massive fan, (im already saving my pennies for future things Nikky will tempt me with ) so I am postitive you will still see lots of Polkadoodles makes from me. 

For this card I used the gorgeous Winnie May your wishes come True  and I used a number of different Polkadoodles stamp sets to create the flowers.

We Love to Create Challenge 13

Hi Everyone 

Its time for another challenge over at We Love To Create  Where we are loving everything Mixed Media.

For this months challenge I created I have decorated a 8"v8" canvas using book paper, & watercolours to create a galaxy sky effect, I have then gone over it with heavy Gel Medium and some polkadoodles Stencils. I then highlighted the texture using gilding wax. Finally I added my unicorn from Octavia - Frosted Winter and blinged her up with some embellishments from my stash.

Polkadoodles - Week 39

Hi Everyone,  

Yaaaay its Friday, almost the weekend :-) and we have a new challenge over at Polkadoodles. The Theme as always is anything goes and this week the team were challenged to make a matching set, I have gone for a card and envelope. I have made this card using some of the gorgeous Polkadoodles Stencils, I have added a little stenciling and some fussy cut images out of the Polkadoodles paper pad.

The challenge as always is anything goes, however the DT were asked to Frame it .. so I doodled a little frame around George the Giraffe from the Having a Giraffe stamp Set and embellished it with some flowers from the Magic Garden collection.

Upcycled Wood with Stamperia

Hi Everyone, I have another video on my YouTube channel … so please grab a cuppa & watch or even better craft along with me.

I saw a beautiful piece of art on pinterest where they had painted a beautiful work of art onto a broken piece of wood, so I raided my hubby's stash of wood in the garden. I painted it first with some Indigo Blu painted, I then added some rice paper from Stamperia & added some added texture with gel Medium & Luscious powder from IndigoBlu. 

For the final touch I added some flowers that I made from rice paper & Sospeso

Painting The Roses Red

Hi Everyone 

I have another video Tutorial on my YouTube Channel today. 

I had a Alice in Wonderland Tea Party for my 6 year old daughter last week, we had immense fun, I had bought some  cheap little necklaces and braclets for all there was a few left over and when I had this collection of little charms, I just Had to do a Mixed Media project! 

I have altered a paintbrush using some Dylusion Black & Red Paint & the fabulous Winnie in Wonderland download from Polkadoodles. I also added some Pebeo Gilding Wax and Kuretake watercolour splashes just to finish it off.

We Love to Create Challenge 12

Hi There,

Its time for another challenge over at We Love To Create, which is all about mixed media. I really hope you will come and join us, there are so many talented mixed media artists out there, I love being inspired by your work.

For this page, I started by dragging distress inks Picked Raspberry & Spiced Marmalade down the page. I then added some scrap left over papers from the posydoodle paper kit I then blended that into the background by using the accents stencil 

I then also added some stamping using the little stamps from the Dragon Fly Doodles I added the feature images also from the Posy doodle paper kit , I added the title from papers in the 6x6 posy doodle paper pad I then just added a little doodling and highlighted some of the stamping using the transparent Nuvo drops.

Polkadoodles Challenge Week 35

Hi Everyone , Time for another challenge over at Polkadoodles, I really hope you will come & join us.
Today I have made a little mixed media canvas using the gorgeous Winnie Chic die, I cut her hair from book paper & inked the edges using distress ink Vintage Photo. I then added some details to the background with the accents stencil, and added some paper ribbon as a finishing touch.

Envelope Card Tag Leonie Style

George and the Rainbow Tree

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with another YouTube video in this one I am doing some cool paint techniques using some cotton buds ( q tips ) 

I have also used my Fav stamp ( at this moment in time .. LOL :-) ) this was one of those sets that after I had made all the samples for the release on Hochanda I was really sad to have to put away and work on some other stuff, so it was really lovely to get him out and have another play. I have coloured him up using my Ecoline Markers.

Im on Youtube with a Polkadoodles Japanese Garden.

Hi Everyone,

So I have been brave and taken the plunge to start up a YouTube Channel .. Polkadoodles Challenge - Week 33

Hi Everyone,

Time for another challenge over at Polkadoodles. The challenge as always is Anything Goes, I really hope you will come and join us as I love being inspired by your work.

This week the DT were asked to make a circle card, so I took the opportunity to make a little shaker card, I have wanted to do that with this kit as soon as I got it but for some reason never got round to it. I used some of the toppers from the Posydoodles  collection. I used 2 of the same topper used one as the backing of the card and created a frame out. I fussy cut out the girl and added her over the top of the card .. I also fussy cut out some of the flowers to create embelishments, and finally I added some Nuvo drops over the sentiment.
