Thank You Kat!!
I made this card using the lovely stamp sent to me by Kat who has been celebrating her new DT position at Totally Gorjuss by giving away some lovely mini candy, of which I was a lucky recipient!! Kat has a gorgeous blog, full of lovely inspiration! If you get a chance please pop across, I know you will love it!!
I have made this card, using some paper lurking at the bottom of my Scrap Bag! I am pretty sure it is "K&Co" all the edges have been inked with "Whispers - whisper blue" and the image has been coloured using my whispers pens. The flowers I have stamped, and cut out, added some little glass bead things and added some stickles! Also I Just had to add the little swirl in the corner is a peel off, I had to admit that when I bought it I thought it was white, but discovered last night that it was actually clear which I love, I think it looks more delicate! I wish I had bought more! but I guess 400 miles is a bit far to travel to buy more!! he he!!
Once again Thanks Kat for the stamp, I just Love it!

Twitterpated
This is my Entry for Charisma Cardz the challenge this week is no backing paper.
I am definitely going through a less is more stage at the mo. These gorgeous images are from "Craftworkcards" and I have just added a little touch of colour using my whisper pens. The Lines and swirls have been done using peeloffs. I added the sentiment "Twitterpated" which of course is from the film "Bambi" and I think it is such a great way of describing that "in love feeling"........

Let's Take Note...
Hi all I am sorry if I have not been around visiting you all over the past few day's I have been away doing training... These are a few more makes that I did whilst crafting for myself without restriction!....
I have always had a thing for stationary, I love notebooks and diary's..now I love the fact I can do my own..I was delighted when I needed a new one..so this one is for me. The background paper is from "DCWV - Rock star" and I have once again used a "Kanban - Lorali Fairy" from QVC....I just love these images, and as much as I am not into using toppers can't resist these ladies, I am just hoping that someone will hear my plea and turn them into stamps!!! I have also created a pocket on the inside of the notepad, just handy for all those odd bit's of paper you end up collecting!
and this one I made for a friend who just loves the colour purple! so had to make something with this little lady for her! again like the first one, I have finished off with ribbon, peel off swirls and adhesive stones..
I hope you like them....and hopefully soon, I will have something that has been stamped with love for you next time! Hugs Juls

Simon say's - Get Well Soon
I mentioned in my last post that I had lost my Mojo, I sat down to make some cards last night and I put away stuff I was currently working on and just had a play for me.
In the past in a life before blogland when I sat down to make cards, I never had a plan, I just used to play away i just started having no idea where I was going and the card just kind of used to end up happening (If that makes sense!) Now don't get me wrong I love blogland and all the lovely inspiration it has with sketches and colour combo's and recipes and I have loved the challenge! Its much easier now when friends ask for something specific, I can do it without panicking, thanks to blogland with all its challenges.
Last night however I turned off the computer and just crafted for me, to try and rediscover what I do! and I am feeling much happier now about myself and my crafting mojo!!
I made a few cards, here is one of them...I made this up and then remembered Simon Says had a "Get Well" theme and so added the little sentiment! I am quite happy with this one although it is not my usual style! (not that I really have a style!!)
Thanks for listening to all my waffle!! Hugs Juls

Tall Card
This is a very quick card I have made for some friends that have just moved house. I am planning on entering it into:
Caardvarks - Tall Cards
I have to say I always like tall cards I always think they look very elegant! yet for some reason I don't make them very often, so it was good to do this one, as I mentioned it was a quick card so I have used my Lorali fairy kanban kit from QVC again. I have made the house 3d and have added some gems unfortunately I can't seem to load up my close up, but if you click on the picture you can see it better. and added some gems and some peel off swirls.
I have spent the past few evenings trying to make cards e.c.t but at the moment everything I touch seems to be a total disaster can't seem to get my mojo going!! hopefully it will come back soon, although I am kind of put off even trying......
Hopefully see you soon....if I have something to show!!

A Gorjuss Royal Challenge
Hi All How are you?
There are a couple of new challenge blogs that I am really excited about. Firstly Totally Gorjuss... as anyone who is a regular reader of this blog will know that I am a huge fan of these Gorjuss Girls, so a whole challenge blog dedicated just to them, lovely! Also a few of my Bloggy friends are on the DT so great excitement all round!!
Also the lovely Irit Shalom as "The challenge Queen" has set up her own monthly challenge, "The Royal Challenge" Where you are to follow her challenge and fit in as many other challenges as possible! The winner is the person who fits in the most challenges.
I am really pleased with myself as I have managed to Fit in 16 challenges, which is a record for me, I think my best so far is 7, but I have to say it pales into insignificance in comparison to some of the other girls out there in blogland!! - hats off to you all!! Despite that I had a lot of fun with this one! So Here goes:
1. Royal Challenge - Pink
2. Totally Gorjuss - Pink
3. ABC - Flying

5. Stamp Something - Bling
6. If the Shoe Fits - Bling it on
7. Paper Play - Favourite Embellishment ( Has to be adhesive stones, I use them on every card I make!)
8. Paper Cutz - Tag
9. Charisma Cardz - Distressing (the background paper has been sanded torn a little and everything has been colour tinted with "distress ink - worn lipstick")
10. Creative Card Crew - Scallops
11. Everybody Art Challenge - Shapes and punches (the tag is a punch)
12. Cup Cake Craft - Buttons and stitching (the button is at the top of the tag)

Quick and Cute
This is my card for My Time to Craft the theme this week is "Quick and Cute"
In general I prefer to do my own stamping and like to spend quite a lot of time on making my cards and don't tend to buy things for quick and easy card making, however sometimes I just fall in love with images and I just have to buy them! This was the case with this kit from QVC. Its a Kanban Kit, the fairy images were designed by Lorali - I love her designs and I am really hoping that at some point they will release these images as stamps!!
However it worked out just perfect for this challenge!! I have no idea what the papers are they were lurking at the bottom of my scrap box! The little flowers are from the kit, I have added some gems on her coat, used some peel off swirls and dots and of course plenty of stickles.
This was a quick and easy card, but I am quite happy with the results!

Gracias
This is my entry for the Cup Cake Challenge - " Thanks a Bunch"
I have used one of my new stamps from my visit to "Hobby Craft" In Preston. As they were open until 8pm, Hubby suggested that we finished decorating around tea time, go out for our dinner and then I could look at the craft shop - Isn't he sweet!!
Anyway the stamp is " Inkadinkado - Chandeliers" Then I have used papers from " Papermania - hint of pink" range. I cut round the flowers with my craft knife so that it could overlap the main image. and I have added some black gems along the branches of the flowers and pink gems on the chandelier. The sentiment is a peel off!! and that's about it!

Shabby Chic - I think?
This is a card I made last night while Hubby was away. I have used a "Leanne Ellis" Stamp from "Sugar Nellie", she has been stamped using "Adirondack - Latte" and I have coloured by just using The Adirondack ink and My water brush, and I have used my Whisper pens to colour the pink of the rose, and also to create the swirl background using a "heidi Swapp" stamp. The embossed background has been created using a cuttlebug plate, then inked over with the Adirondack ink and then Lightly sanded. I have then used some fibres and some Prima flowers.
When I colored it I had made the rose to dark, and it didn't look right so I tried to soften the look by colouring over it using a "Viva Pearl Pen - cream" I think it worked quite well..then I used silicone glue to put the flowers down and that ended up showing through so I used the pearl pen to disguise that too..Think It has been quite a happy accident because I quite like the look of it.
I plan to enter this into 7 challenges:
Crafty Creations - All shades of pale
Rosie Dee's - Brown&Cream with a cherry on top
Stamp Something - Brown with one other colour
ABC - Embossing
365 days (Thursdays challenge) - 5 things on one card..They are
1- Sheet of card (other than the cardstock) that I used in different ways, one part embossed and the other I stamped the background
2-Fibres
3-Flowers
4-Fabric leaves
5-Adhesive pearls
Crafty Cardmakers - ribbons and fibres
Pile it on - 3 dimensional ..The image has been matted on 3d foam, then the girl has been cut out and used with 3d foam also the flowers add dimension

Princess Charlotte
Hi how are you all? It feels like it has been ages since I have sat down and posted anything!! I arrived home from decorating absolutely exhausted, after a 7 hour drive..then 2 hours later My brother and sister in law arrived and stayed with us for a few days, so everything has been a tad hectic!!
Anyway There was a little parcel waiting for me when I got home, (so I have loads of new stuff as yes, I did manage to fit in a visit to 2 craft shops!!) My parcel was from Simon Says, with a couple of WOJ stamps that I ordered! Thanks to the lovely Charisma cardz!
I have been drooling over WOJ stamps forever..and yet had not got round to beginning my collection..I excitedly checked the challenge blog, and I have managed to get my stamps in time for the special anniversary challenge! Although I am quite disappointed as I don't really like the way my card turned out, and I cant really put my finger on the reason why.
To Make my card, I have used WOJ -Princess Charlotte, which I have coloured using my whisper pens, and then I used "Sakura" glitter gel pens and my water brush to give a shimmery effect. The papers are from "Bo Bunny - Alissa" then I have used some "Prima" flowers and some peel offs.
My entry for - Whiff of Joy Challenge blog
My Hubby is away for work this weekend, will miss him terribly, but I am hoping to get loads of crafting done, feels like it has been ages since I have had a good crafting session to myself!

My First Ever DT Post
wow, How exciting is this!! I cant believe it, I am making my first ever post as a DT!! and I am not even here for the party!! So I am hoping this post will come to you via the magic of Mr Blogger!!
I am probably going to be covered in Paint and wallpaper as this goes out, but I will definitely be thinking of Jane and the fab team on the launch of "by the cute and girly"
When I heard that the theme was going to be called Autumn Glory the first thing I had to do was place an order to funky kits for these gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamps!! (LOL) Lets hope I don't feel the need to do that for every challenge!! Hubby knows I bought them but not the reason why!! thought I best not say or he might not be quite so happy for me regarding becoming a DT!! I made this tunnel card, and normal card using my gorgeous new stamps and and "Cosmo Cricket - Fleuriste", I have also added some fibres and as always a good sprinkling of stickles!!
This is the first card that I made when I heard the theme was autumn glory..before my nellies arrived!! I have used some gorgeous prima paper and all the edges have been inked with "distress ink - shabby shutters & walnut" I have also stamped a leaf design using "Le Blanche stamps" and "brilliance - pearlesant poppy" the stamp I have used is from "woodware - splish splash splosh" I also stamped onto some "Fantasy film - sunkissed" to make the umbrella and then used little leaf peeloffs on all the scraps to create the tumbling leaves!!....should have seen hubbys face when I got the iron out!! He actually thought i was going to do some housework!!
Well the most exciting part of this challenge blog is the fact that it is to include ALL crafts not just card making!! This is fab for me, it is making me think of all those long forgotten crafts like...sewing, cross stitch, cake decorating, knitting, painting, photography...papercraft has taken over my life so it has been great to think about some of these other things again!! I have also talked loads about starting to make jewelry but never quite got round to it, so now I have a good incentive!!
I think this is where I have fallen down a little in this challenge, unfortunately due to a constant stream of visitors, and the fact that I have had to plan to travel to the other end of the country to decorate for my family!! I have not had as much time as I would have liked!! anyway... The necklace I have make using an old wooden leaf I pulled off a M&S gift tag I received years ago, I have covered it using alcohol inks, added an extra leaf motif using a peel off on some metal, and added a few beads, it has just been attached simply with a jump ring and some organza ribbon.
I also set up a still life in my garden, using my coat and scarf, some apples and a few autumn leaves I collected. In art class I always enjoyed setting up a still life more than I enjoyed painting it!! So on this occasion, I took photo's, think it will be a while before I am brave enough to get the old paints out!!
Please if you can pop over to the challenge blog!! I have had a sneek peek at some of the other girls creations and all I can say is..they are AMAZING!!!!!
and quickly just before I go, I want to say a big thank you to Laura, she has been very patient with me helping me with "how to" on my blog..I am a little technically challenged!! but it has meant that for the first time I have been able to put text in between my photos!! hooray!!
Hope I have not bored you all with this long post!!
I look forward to seeing what you all think of the new challenge blog "By the Cute & Girly" when I get back!!
