Precious Moments
Hi all......sorry about the huge amount of photos!! very difficult to photograph a project like this!!
this is a Little anniversary card that I have made for my Auntie and Uncle. All the images are precious moments that I downloaded free from:http://www.coloring-pages-and-more.com/precious-moments-coloring-pages.html All the images have been coloured using my copics. The edges of the images have all be colour tinted using "Distress ink - Shabby Shutters"
The papers are "K&CO Amy Butler - Sola collection" The zig zag stitching is a "HOTP" stamp.....and finished off with buttons, flowers, ribbons, and pearls!
I plan to enter this in to:

Quirky Crafts - Cute
Spoon full of Sugar - Distress ink and pearls
Dare you to Digi Stamp Friday - Pearls

Knight in Shining Armour
This is another Fabulous design from Sassy Studio Designs...I Just Love it!!! and I have coloured it using my copics. The Grey paper is "Papermania - Capsule Collection" the little bit of pink paper is from my scrap DP's and I have overstamped it using " Hero Arts - Manuscript background"
I have distressed all the edges using my craft knife....first time I have done this! ( I know I am a little slow on the uptake!) I normally tear it or sand think I prefer the results this way...I have done loads of faux stitching..I love real stitching, but it is such a pain to get my sewing machine out so it happens very rarely!
Arn't the little crochet flowers gorgeous!! I got these from the lovely parcel sent to me by Magda!........I have turned my hand to most crafts over the years..probably a case of jack of all trades master of none! But I have never managed to master crochet.....my Dad is amazing, and has tried to teach me many times, but it just never happened...so I am very impressed by these flowers!.....I have popped a few pearls in the centre of the flowers...and there is organza ribbon on there too, its just hard to see on the photo, so you may want to click on it to get a better look!.......and of course what is a damsel in distress without a gorgeous glittery dress...so I had to add stickels!
On a compete tangent on the Strictly show I saw on Saturday..on the last Professional dance Natalie had the most amazing dress, that had lights on it...it was just beautiful..I want one!!!!
This is my entry for:
Pile it on - Flowers
Crafty Calender - Love and friendship

little owl
It feels like It has been ages since I have been here in Blogland! Sorry all..been really busy with work. Also at the weekend I was down in Glasgow to go and see Strictly Come Dancing!! which was Fab - u - lous!!!!! Loved it so much. I did manage a craft shop, but I wasn't feeling that well so I walked round it in a daze, and just bought some copic paper and a green copic pen! a bit of a waste but then I am sure I will get chance to go again!!
Now to my card...once again working from my scraps so I have no idea what the papers are! The gorgeous owl is a Sugar Nellie image that was free on a CS magazine last year sometime! (yes I baught the magazine for the stamp!!!!......I have a subscription now which is fab!) I have stamped it about 4 times and built up the layers..coloured in copics!!
The zig zag stitching has been stamped with a HOTP stamp and finally I have added some peel off swirls and a few gems!!
this is my entry for:
Stamp Something - something cute
Daring card makers - have a heart
Alphabet - P is for Pink
Cup Cake - keep it simple
Sophistiocat - Stitching (real or faux)
Thanks for looking...hope to catch up with what you have all been doing! Hugs Juls

Brenda's One off Challenge and Blog Hop
Whoo Hooo....well today is the day, I am so excited....this is the very first blog hop I have been involved in... If you have come over from Sally then you are on the right track..if not, why not start at the beginning at Brenda's Blog .
This hop has been organised to celebrate the fact our sponsor Sir Stampalot are moving to a spacious new shop in Peterborough
There is lots of fun planned and some super prizes. The first prize for the challenge which the estimated value is £160 is a Sizzix Big Shot (wow how fab is that!!) with extended cutting platform, plus dies including two of the fabulous Sizzix Bigz dies which cut boxes and shaped cards.
There will also be two runners up prizes for every stop of the blog hop which include stamps from all the best companies such as Hero Arts, Penny Black, Stamps Happen, embellishment kits etc., etc.
So In order to be in with a chance to win these amazing prizes, please join in Brenda's challenge.
The challenge and blog hop will run for two weeks closing at midnight GMT on 13th February 2010.
The challenge theme is:
MOVING
Your project can be a card, box, scrapbook page, whatever you choose and the theme is open to interpretation, moving home, kinetic card, vehicle or as simple as a dangling charm as long as it represents movement.
Just a few rules you need to follow for your creation to be included in the bid draw:
1) Your project must be linked do Mr Linky at Floral Fantasies
2) You must include a link to Brenda's challenge post and Sir Stampalot
("http://www.sirstampalot.co.
3) You may enter more than once, providing second or subsequent entries are a different type of project (i.e a card and a scrapbook page, not two cards)
The Blog Hop
1) Pick up a letter clue at each one.
The clue you need to pick up from my blog is the letter V
Just a little clue to help you on your way - when you re-arrange the letters you will end up with three words and I have given you one to start you on your way:
2) leave a comment on each blog you visit on their challenge/blog hop posts so you can be entered into the draws for those prizes
This challenge and blog hop is open worldwide.
It can also be combined with other challenges but can not be back linked.
So here is my card for this fab challenge:
I have used a Sarah Kay image, and coloured it in with my copic's. When I saw this sentiment in the craft stamper magazine I knew it was perfect for this challenge!! I have just printed it off my computer, and used my binding tool to try and make it look like notepaper. The paper I have used is from "Basic Grey" and I have colour tinted just about everything using "Distress ink - worn lipstick".....the use of a charm is new to me, definitely need to practice that look...and I have added gems and stickles to finish it off !!
Now to complete the Hop you need to go over to Pinky's
Hugs to you all Julia
Thank you Magda
Well hasn't Mr Random been good to me! I have also been really Lucky to win Magda's

I have made this using the Fab Lilli of the Vally stamp sent to me by Magda and also the papers that she sent too! I have gone for quite a simple layout, I just hope it works ok.

Vintage Love
I have tried something a little different for me today...I always used to say I didn't really have a style and I quite liked that, but just recently I have found everything has been a bit samey....so this is my attempt at breaking the mould a little...
I Love the collage look..and oooo and aaaaa over everyone else's creations...I love the fact you can use loads of different images together and they just look right together...however it is a look that have never been able to pull of myself...so this is me attempting to give it another try.....
I am back on my scraps..all the red accents are "Basic Grey" paper... The main background paper is plain white card that I have stamped with "Hero Arts - Manuscript" and " Inkadinkado - Chandeliers" and the little watch detail is from a set that I bought from QVC forever ago!!
The main image is "Create a Scene - Regency" I have coloured the images in with copics.
The lace is "Doodlebug - boutique trim" and the flower has been created with a flower punch and the basic grey paper. finally a couple of pearls
I am not too sure of the results, but I think I like it??!!
This is my entry for:

C.R.A.F.T - Love

Elegant Lady
Well so much for trying to use uninked rubber stamp is "Whipper Snapper Designs - Bride's Back" I have had her forever and think she is just gorgeous!!
I had some pearlised "Papermania" and I thought of this stamp...and making her dress out of it..I have inked it up about 6 times to build up her dress..Then I put some pearlised paper through a cuttlebug folder..so create a mat for her to sit on. The background paper is "papermania - wedding march"....although I have to admit I cut into a new piece!!......then I have added a few flowers, pearls and gems...I have deliberately tried to keep the layout quite simple.
This was a nightmare to photograph..I have been running round the house trying all sorts of locations...still not brill..but better than the others!!
Anyway..this is my entry for:
Creative Inspirations - Feminine
C.R.A.F.T - paper piecing
Totally Gorjuss - Paper piecing (I hope this image qualifies!! - I think is is gorgeous!!)
Pink Elephant - all about pink
Fab and Funky - emboss it
Thanks for looking..Hugs Juls

Love Birds
Hello all...hope you enjoyed the Blog Hop yesterday! I Loved it!!
Don't you just love this image...they are sooooo cute! This is one of the fabulous nellies that fell into my basket when I was through in Elgin the other week....I have coloured using my copics..now I have got used to them, absolutely love them....how did I craft before?!!!!
The paper....yes back on the scrap mission... The paper is "WRMK - nonsense range" also think I should add uninked rubber to that mission, I have so much stuff I have barley scratched the surface..yet I always need more..sometimes I think I hold more stock than my local craft shops!!
As promised..here is a photo of my scraps:
Believe me that pile is much deeper than it looks!! (It fills one of those tesco bag for life things!) Also I hope you are all impressed by my organisational skills!!! LOL....all of this was in a large plastic folder thing but It was difficult to see what I had so I have tipped it all out on my spare bed so it was easier to have a rummage
Back to my card, I am entering it into the following challenges:
Pile it on - enough of winter colours
Sophisticat - Love
Papertake weekly - Love actually
