Floral Thank You
Hi All,
This is a card I made for a friend who treated me to some new crafty stash ... including the dies, I used to create this card. All the dies are Sizzix and I have used papers My minds eye/Kate&Co
The main stamp is one I bought forever ago when I started this milarky, I cant even see a brand sticker on it. I stamped it up with Memento Ink ... Then I traced round the script with a copic marker, so that it matched the background paper.
I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
Crafty Card Makers - Handmade Flowers
Everybody Art Challenge - Anything Goes
Fan'N'Funky - Flower Power
Crafty Girls - Anything Goes
Crafty Chicks - Sentiment Only
Sister Act - Anything Goes
Fairytale Challenge Blog - Butterflies
Totally Gorjuss - Dies and Punches
Dream Valley - Say it with Words
613 Avenue - Anything Goes

Spring Wedding
Hi All,
This is a card that I made for a friend who is getting married tomorrow. I actually made her wedding invites. When I asked her to give me a brief, she had mentioned that the colour of the bridesmaid dresses were sage green , she is having a herb bouquet with hints of Lavender. She asked me to think country garden. I also know that she is going to have bunting at the reception .. and her 7 year old sister will be one of her bridesmaids. I took all of those factors as an inspiration for this card.
I love this Tilda, and its been an age since I have inked it up and it seemed perfect for the occasion. I teamed it with some papers from "Tilda - Kitchen Garden" .... Then to be honest the whole card sort of evolved rather than sticking to the concept that was in my head.
I have so many flower die's but I ended up opting for stamping, and cutting out all the flowers!! I used a little rose stamp from "Kanban" onto both Green and White Vellum, I embossed it with "wow powder - sparking snow" Then I added butterflies, onto lavender veelum- Also A Kanban stamp.
The bunting is a "papermania" stamp, which I coloured with copics, but to be honest when I added all the flowers it just looked wrong, as the flowers were so soft and luxurious looking, and the brightly coloured bunting just seemed to clash and it just did not marry up. So I then decided to stamp the bunting up in the vellum too & to create an overlay to the coloured image. ... I was really pleased with the way that turned out, but then the coloured image looked so matt in comparision to the rest of the card. So I coloured over the dresses with twinkling H2o's I used "oyster" on the bride and " luminesant green" on the bridesmaid dress. ...... and somehow through a lot of playing and adapting as I went along I ended up with this, and for once I am really happy.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers - Handmade flowers
Magnolia-licious - All things flowery
Everybody Art challenge - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Spring
A Random Fan - Show us your springy colours
Penny Paper Craft Challenge - Ice cream colours
Fab'N'Funky - Flower Power
Marvelous Magnolia - Anything Goes ( I have entered in beginners, I have only been in a top 3 once in a magnolia only challenge )
Crafty Girls - Anything Goes
Crafty Catz - B is for? (Bride)
Sister Act - Anything Goes
Fairy Tale challenge - Butterflies

A Stitched Thank You
Hello All,
Well, I am slightly broke, the combo of there being so many good offers on C&C and the fact I got round to downloading the app ... so I can still have a sneeky wee look at what is going on even though my daughter is watching cbeebies!!! .... I got a couple of tools from WRMK and some HOTP kits .... Just waiting for them to arrive so I can play.
Over the past few days, I have been pushing myself out of my comfort zone .... It seems that I am incapable of making a card unless it has a stamped and coloured image on it ... yet whilst I scour blogland there are so many styles of cards that I love. I love sewing themed cards, sewing was a 1st love ... I am so impressed by cards that have so many elements and details, but they all work perfectly together, I am not sure I have achieved that, and I am not sure the layout is right, but I did enjoy having a play.
All the stamps came free on a magazine that I bought forever ago, and never got round to playing with. All the papers are " Tilda - Kitchen Garden"
I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
Just Inspirational - Wood/Fabric
Every Body Art Challenge - Anything Goes
A Random Fan - Show us your Springy Colours
As You Like It - Fav style of Stitching (Faux for me it goes on every card I make, I think it just really finshes a card off )
Crafty Girls - Anything Goes
Sister Act - Anything Goes
Open Minded Crafting - ( I have chosen the option of Spring Colours )
613 Avenue - Anything Goes
Pixies Snippit Playground
I would also like to say thank you to the girls at 613 Avenue for choosing me to be in their top 3 last week, I feel very honoured!!
Thanks for looking

A Life full of Giggles
Hi All,
I'm having major issues getting my photo right today, After ages of fiddling its still not right, but at least it should give you an idea. Been playing with another Saturated Canary image ... she has been coloured with a combo of copic's and prismas. I have teamed it with papers from " My Minds Eye / Kate&Co " .... Again I have gone for a fairly simple layout ... think I am just going through a bit of a less is more phase.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
My Mum's Craft Shop - Anything Goes
Clear It Out - Anything Goes
Tip Top Tue - Cute
Fab N Funky - Pink
As You Like it (Fav Real or Faux Stitching ) - I have Faux stitching, This goes on nearly every card I make, I like to do little dots and then join up with lines, to give a hand stitch look.
4 Crafty Chicks - Use Polka Dots
Crafty Girls - Anything Goes
Sister Act - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes

Kitchen Thank You - Take 2
Hi All,
I mentioned in my last post that I had received a number of lovely gifts for my kitchen. This card is for my MIL who very kindly got me a kenwood, which I am loving especially as I bake a lot more now with the assistance of my 2 year old!!
Again I coloured in Kitchen Tilda, she is just perfect for the occasion, She has been coloured with a combo of Copics and Prisma's. I chopped into the card a little in an attempt to make it look like an apron, and I have teamed it up with some Bo Bunny papers.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Moving Along With The Times - Sweet Treats
Charisma Cards - Anything Goes
Sister Act - Anything Goes
