Craft Purchases

Hi,
I have been asked by a few of you what purchases I made whilst on holiday, so a quick post here to give you a little glimpse although the photo is not brill. prob get a better idea as it gradually gets used on cards!
Got quite a few sets of stamps, a couple of sets of penny black stamps so that I could enter some of the challenges over there!
I got a big die for my big shot, I have to say I wouldn't have just picked that design but I saw it in a craft magazine and what they did with it was amazing, so I am looking forward to having a play!
there are some bo bunny papers there, and I need them like I need a hole in the head! but I just couldn't resist!
Finally some copic's. I have not used them before so I only bought a few of them to see how I get on with them. I bought a couple of skin tone ones, and some to do a black and white colouring. I am however looking for a little advice I was told not to use them with stazon ink, and I cant craft without stazon! so I am just wondering what ink to use instead!
The shops I visited were in :
Perth: " Stampaholics" Fab shop with a great selection of stamps
Glasgow: "Craftology" which I love great shop, filled with everything. In my eyes this is huge! but they are actually moving next door so they can have even more space than they do now! cant wait till my visit next year!
Both shops offer a reward system to... every little helps!

  1. Hi Juls,
Thanks for showing us your new stash!
For Copics I use Memento ink - I can use this for everything including watercolour and it has now replaced Stazon as my staple stamping ink. It doesn't stain your stamps either which is a bonus.
Have fun creating with this lot.

  3. Great stash you've got yourself there!!!
I use Memento Tuxedo Black and heat set it but if you want a better trick - clear emboss after stamping it stops the colours running.
Check out this blog to http://ilikemarkers.blogspot.com. Good luck!!!
