I know I must be waaaay behind the times, but I have only just discovered The Paper Shelter .... Treated myself to quite a few digi's. This image really appealed to me, maybe because Hubby and I had a Nile cruise a few years ago.
Amazingly this card took me 2 evenings to make ... I got the basic layout that I was happy with (pretty much the one you see now ) I kept trying to add fuss but it just wasn't working so in the end I stuck with C&S

The card blank is From Kanban (bought years ago, just after that Egypt trip, under the illusion I would scrapbook my photos ) The blue paper is also Kanban, and the red card Cor'dinations.
I created the little embellies using paper clay and Martha Stewart Molds. I coloured with distress ink Antique linen and I used distress marker - Pummis Stone to add the detail.
