Robin Hood and Maid Marion

Hi All,

I have been drooling over these new magnolia images for a while, and I am so lucky as a very lovely bloggy friend of mine sent me some stamped images to play with. This is a quick little card, as I was needing an anniversary card...I have coloured the fab image in using my copics, and all the paper is "basic grey - porcelain collection" I love that collection that much that I now have it in 12x12 and 6x6!!!............I attempted to make my own handmade flower, a different style to my normal ones, think I need a bit more practice, and I have coloured the pearls with my copics so they match..

The Dulux Dog

Hello All,

As soon as I saw this fab image on the "Polkadoodles - All around and everywhere" cd....I loved him, his name is Dennis....he just so reminded me of the Dulux dog, that I thought if I used it with one of the Dulux paint charts it would make a perfect new home card, and be slightly different from anything I have done before....I normally use some form of house image...

The papers are from my never ending scrap pile and I have inked all the edges with "distress ink - worn lipstick" I have also added some faux stitching, the flowers are also from the "polkadoodle cd....I have re sized them and used as a template to create flowers from the DP.

I Like a nice cup of tea....

Hello All,

Last week I was having a great time making cards...I was really happy with everything, this week I seem to have lost my mojo....this is another one that was great in my head, but I am really not happy with the way it turned out.

The card and the teapot, cup and cake embellishments are from "Kanban".....and the other images are from "Krafting Kimmie" which I have coloured with my copics.

I remember my grandfather reciting this "cup of tea" poem so I googled it, and then printed on my computer...I thought it went perfectly with these images!...... I just wished it turned out a bit better...

Hi All,

I am back with a very quick post....I hated the last card that I put on here that I had to come back with this one that I have just made which I like better.

Again I have used this fab SN Leanne Ellis design! and the card stock is Kanban...I just had to decoupage that dress!!!!

I am in a very blingy mood at the mo, don't know what brought that on, but at least it will please my Hubby he despairs that I spend so much money on paper, or worse still spend hours making my own, and then the first thing I do is tear it...so he will like this one...clean straight lines!!! LOL

Hello All,

Hope you have all been enjoying the bank holiday...surprise surprise I have been crafting all day....and only managed to make 2 cards (how sad is that!!........I wouldn't mind but they are not even that spectacular!)

As anyone who regularly reads my blog will know I am a huge Leanne Ellis fan, so I was delighted to pick up my stamps in Elgin on Sat.......I just love this one and know she will become a firm favourite.....I am sure she will be inked over and over, and I have so many ideas floating around in my head.....

Unfortunately I really don't like the way this one turned out....so I am not really sure why exactly I am sharing it here.....

I have used a "Kanban" Frame that I had leftover from an old kit, and turned it into a little shaker card...not sure why I took the notion...they don't seem to be the fashion anymore....I did not have a tub of just pink beads so I spent goodness knows how long sifting through a tub of mixed beads.....and now most have them have stuck to the edges of the 3d foam so you can barely see them....LOL!!! The black paper is also from "Kanban" and The pink paper is "Papermania - hint of pink"

another slice of cake?

Hello all...

I have 5 friends getting married this year....(I think something must be in the air!) I am normally asked by some friends and family for cards...so I recon I need to make at least 30 wedding cards this year....so this is another one.

When I printed out the "polkadoodle" template for the card I made in my previous post I accidentally printed out 2 fronts, so I used the extra one to make this card. I have covered it with some paper from my scrap pile, so I have no idea what it is. I stitched on the ribbon Just to add a little detail.

The flowers again are a flower blank from the "polkadoodle - all around everywhere" and I have re sized in "my craft studio"..I have used them as a template and cute it out on the reverse side of the paper that I covered the cake with.The Large Flowers have "K&Co - Amy Butler" brads in the centre of them.

The main card has been covered with "EK success - I do".....and finally I have added the little wedding couple..a fab "sugarnellie" image which I have coloured using my copics and then added a little stickels on her dress and shoes.

How are you..I have had a really lovely day, have had a little trip to Elgin today and visited "Paper Boutique" where there was some fab demonstrations going on...got some fab demos on making flowers...shrinkies..chipboard books, and lots of really lovely things. spent lots...and I also I picked up my new Leanne Ellis stamps!! whooo hoooo!!!! cant wait to play, I have loads of lovely ideas floating around my head!!

Anyway onto this card, I actually started it yesterday, and I finished off this eve...I am quite slow at the mo, due to some ongoing health issues..but never mind I got there in the end.

This fab wedding cake is from the fab "polkadoodles - paper boutique" cd......I have to admit I am struggling with the whole template thing....the finished cards look a bit home made, instead of handmade, so if anyone has any tips on how to get them looking a bit more professional I would love to hear them.

I covered the card in paper "sandy lion - wedding roses"...and all the edges have been tinted with "distress ink - worn lipstick" The white flowers are blank flower shapes from "polkadoodles - all around and everywhere" which I have copied into my craft studio and re sized, I have colour tinted the edges, and shaped a little and added some pink gems. The little pink flowers have been made using an "x-cut" punch.

The Scallops of icing were part of the template which I have put on with 3d foam and covered with stickles.

Finally the couple on the top of the cake are from "Sassy Studio Designs"...I have just coloured them slightly with my copics.
