Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Hi There,

Sharing another make from the Polkadoodles show that was on Hochanda on Wednesday you can still catch the show on Hochanda if you missed it.

For this card I created a little moon from the Papers using a circle die. In the background I just created a little watercolour wash using a sparkle pen. I then stamped some stars with a pearlescent brilliance ink pad. I then stamped some of the other stars using gold embossing powder. I also twisted some glittery thread around the moon, & finally added a few gold splatters to finish off.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Thanks For Looking

  3. Juls, thank you so much for sharing your project and creativity at 613 - this is an absolutely beautiful card! I LOve that it is deceptively CAS - but at 2nd glance you begin to see the depth of textures, colors & layers! I wish you had posted this beauty in a larger size so that others may not pass it by as a "simple" design. Thank goodness for your description of your technique or I would never have found the pearlescent stars and even the gold thread! Definitely one of my favorites so far!
