Sugar Bowl - March

Hello All,

I am a little late with this post - whoops!!! Its time for a new challenge at the Sugar Bowl as always its a theme of anything goes, and there is some fabby sugar up for grabs so well worth joining in, I'm hoping to bump into you over at the sugar bowl.

I have used one the fabulous scrapberry image enjoy the journey, which can be found here I coloured this a while ago, when I first started Alyce's classes and I can certainly see the difference. I have teamed this up with some papers from Melissa Francis. I have added a little detail by adding some stamps from Bo Bunny, some have been done with a grey memento ink, and some I have embossed in seafoam white

As always thank you for looking

Snow Day

Hello All,

Well we are covered in snow here in the north of Scotland ... As my husband has an outside job, it has been a bit of a snow day, so he was able to spend some quality time with our daughter and I was able to spend some quality time with my craft stash!! LOL

This was an image I coloured up a few weeks ago, I think to date it is the colouring I am most proud of. The image is from Hannah Lynn, and yes I was inspired by Elsia from frozen ... I have a frozen obsessed little girl, what can I say!! .... I have coloured this one up with my copics:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Eyes: B99, B24, B91
Eyeshadow: V01, V04, BV23
Lips: RV09, RV06, RV02, E04
Hair: BV25, E71, E43, E41, E40

Owl: W9, BV23, BV31, BV20, YR12

Dress: BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000, B16, B14, B12, B00

I have stamped around the image with some snowflake stamps from WRMK and embossed with WOW snowflake sparkle embossing powder, then I have colour tinted the paper with distress ink, Tumbled glass. I have then stitched round the edge with some sparkly thread.

I have teamed it up with papers Bo Bunny/Country Garden. I have used Heartfelt dies with co-ordinating stamps, ( Leafy Bloom )again they have been stamped and embossed with the WOW powders to match the snowflakes. and I have used an x-cut punch and cottage Cuts -Winter Bloom for all the snowflakes.

Anniversary Fix

Hi All,

Sorry I have not been around blogland much, things have been sooooo busy, hopefully I will get chance to catch up with all your lovely creations.

This is a card that I made for some friends, I have merged 2 images from Redonkdoodles for this one. The card turned out to be a labor of love. I have coloured it so that it looks just like the couple in question. I have been colouring with copics since 2010 and I have never had a big blob of ink fall onto my colouring ..... after 2 evenings of colouring guess what!! ... after wanting to burst into tears I went on to try and fix, so I tried to remove with colourless blender and then darkened the shirt to cover the orange staining that left ..... as a result of all the panic I failed to keep a note of the copics used.

I decided to keep the card simple and I rummaged through my scrap papers, to put the card together.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafting Cafe - Your Fav Technique ( colouring with copics )
Crafty Calander - Anything Goes
Crafting from the heart - Anything Goes
Deep Ocean Challenge - Love is all around
Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
Chocolate Coffee cards - Love is in the air
The Craft Place - Anything Goes
613 Av Create - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking Crafty Hugs
