Small Beginings

Hi All, Sharing another card from the Hochanda show last week. I have made this one using the gorgeous Small Beginnings Stamp Set  I have coloured it up using my Ecoline Pens and teamed it up with the gorgeous Itsy Ditsy Papers, & I took a sentiment from the bits & pieces paper pack

Stampin Unicorn - wishing you the world

Hi All ... So we had another really busy show on Hochanda, hope you were able to get your goodies before they sold out!!

For this card, I used the Heavenly Bluebells and Perfect Petals and used my Ecoline pens to colour. I then used a sentiment from the embellishment kit. You can find all these scrummy products here

Altered Watering Can

Hello All ... great excitement today as Polkadoodles are back on Hochanda. We are thrilled to be showcasing The Stampin Unicorn stamps.

For this project I have altered a watering can. I used stamp Sets Blossom, Dotty about Flowers and Heavenly Bluebells. I stamped it up on rice paper and coloured up using Ecoline Pens, I then used a decoupage medium to adhere it to the watering can. I then painted parts of the can using paint from Indigo Blu and then finished off with a little string. The flower has been created by stamping onto stone paper and colouring with Ecoline pens.

Stampin Unicorn Canvas

Hi All ... I'm back with another Stampin Unicorn project. One of the things I love about stamps is you can take them in any crafty direction .. Today I have gone for a real mixed media canvas.

To create this I made a background by using the LDRS embossing folders and some of the tags & wooden shapes from the magic sparkles embellishment kit I then covered it all in Gesso, when it was dry I added some pigment powders for a splash of colour.

I then coloured up the butterflies from Daisy Friends as a feature and used the words from the set too to ass as a sentiment. I created some highlights by adding a pink guilding wax and then framed it using a Black Ecoline watercolour pen.

Digi Choosday - Week 51

The theme as always is anything goes, However the DT were asked to follow the theme of Thank You. I have based my Thank you card on the gorgeous January - See the Signs I have coloured her up using my Copic Markers. I stamped up the Sentiment using Elegant Alphabet I then teamed it up with some papers from the Stampin Unicorn, I used Wonerland & Fourni and I added some flowers from the gorgeous Pretty Paper Flowers I also added a few extra details with the Birdhouse Doublet Dies and Elegant Lamplight & Gate and finally I stamped round the edges using Doodle Stitched Borders

Pretty Florals

Hi All,

Sharing another Stampin Unicorn make today. For this one I created a little bit of a wash in the background using an Ecoline pen. I then used the sentiment from Heavenly Blubells but deliberately didn't stamp perfectly to create a bit of a background. I then took paper from Butterfly Dreams and created some paper ribbons. I inked the edges with Distress ink Picked Rasberry. I then arranges some flowers from the Heavenly Dreams and then finished off with a sentiment from bits and pieces and finally I hand doodled some stitching detail around the card.

Stamping Unicorn - Sewing Hoop

Hi All,

Sharing another make from the latest Stampin Unicorn release ... For this make I altered a sewing hoop I used 2 paper packs Butterfly Dreams and the sentiment is from Bits & Pieces I covered the background of the hoop with the paper, and then cut lots of strips of various sizes, and then dry brushed it all with a little gesso. I fussy cut loads of leaves from one of the papers, and some of the butterflies, I mixed my fussy cut pieces with the gorgeous Heavenly Dreams Embellishment kit ... this is so lush, you need it in your life!! & finally I covered the whole project in paint splatters.

Perfect Petals Sparkle

Hi All,

Back with another Stampin Unicorn make. This was also featured on Hochanda, you can still catch both the shows on rewind, here and here

There was a little bit of discussion on TV as to how I had done this one, so I thought I would fill you in. I have used the stamp Perfect Petals ( aldo available at Polkadoodles and Hochanda ) I have stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder , the flowers I stamped out twice and I have layered and shaped them a little to add some dimension. Both the background and the flowers have been coloured with Sheena's Sparkle Pens. I then added black and white paint splatters to give a more arty feel. The sentiment if from the fabulous Bits and Pieces paper pack and then added a few gems from the Heavenly dreams embellishment kit ( its worth checking out the bundle offer )

Old Jeans

 

Hello Its Ruby Rainbow Sparkle here, today I am here with one of the strangest makes I have ever made, lol :-)

I have created a mixed media canvas using an old pair of jeans. I started off by slapping fabric paint over it. I have used Dotty about Flowers I stamped onto Fabric and coloured with fabric paint. I then did some stitched detail. When I had done that I painted the reverse of the fabric with a solution of PVC & Water ... when it had dried I cut out and used to embellish my canvas.

I also layered up some of the Fourni papers and The Magic Sparkle Sentiment Toppers.

Itsy Ditsy

Its Ruby Rainbow Sparkle here again,

Today I am here to show off the gorgeous papers from Stampin Unicorn, which you can find at Hochanda and from our Etsy store.

These papers are just lush and are fabulous quality as you can see they have withstood being run under the sewing machine and I have played with watercolours on them too and they reacted brilliantly so perfect for all your crafty needs.

Stamping Unicorn - Love Blooms

Hello All, Its Ruby Rainbow Sparkle again Sharing another Stampin Unicorn make. You can find this gorgeous image here I have brayered on Acrylic Paint in the background, and then over stamped with the Tall & Elegant stamp. I then painted over the details of the stamps with white Gesso, & then went over that with some sparkle pens. Finally I did a few paint splatters and added some lace.
