A Pink Giraffe

Hi There, sharing another make from the gorgeous new Just Smile collection from Polkadoodles. You can find the full collection here 

I have used George The Giraffe Die cutting set, but made it pink, and then I used the having a giraffe stamp set to create a little water colour background.

Just Smile

Hello All,

So So excited by the gorgeous new collection from Polkadoodles ... Its amazing, we have stamps, papers, dies, felt & stencils. You can find the collection here

For this ... I actually stole the MDF stage from my daughter .. it was one of these cheap things we bought that was a stage with cardboard princesses ... I thought it would make a gorgeous backdrop for these little critters. I decorated it in paper, and I have created the trees using the stamps. I then created the characters using the dies and the essentials paper pad. I did elongate the Giraffe. The bushes have actually been made using the hair & face of the dog die.

Digi Choosday - Week 24

Hi All,

So its Digi Choosday again, which means more fabulous inspiration from my Digi Choosday Teamies and of course a fabulous discount code, so please do pop over to the blog to grab your code & treat yourself to some crafty goodness.

The theme of the challenge as always is Anything Goes, however the DT were asked to make a shaped card. One of the things I love about digital crafting is you can take an image and enlarge it enough to make a card out of it ... that's what I have done using the fabulous Pick Nix - In the Garden Collection I also fussy cut some of the flowers from the collection and used some of the polkadoodles dies to add extra detail.

Digi Choosday - week 22

Hi All & welcome to another Digi Choosday, which means fabulous discounts, yaaaaay!!! So please do pop over to the blog to grab today's discount code. The challenge as always is Anything Goes, so I do hope you will share your makes with us, as I love being inspired by you all.

This week our Jan challenged us all to  use something not for its normal purpose, I realised how much we do that in papercraft anyway, buttons, lace, feathers e.c.t are part of our normal crafty stash ( just shows how adaptable and creative we all are ) I really wanted to think out the box for this one, so I went for a walk and picked up some twigs, I have then wrapped them with pink string & dry brushed with Gesso. I also used some packaging on the back of my card to add a little texture.

I then used some of the floral elements from the gorgeous Magic Garden collection to decorate the card.

Splash Of Summer blossom

Hi there,

Sharing another make from the splash of summer collection. This card shows the power of the little stamps on the set.  http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/may-product-releases/

I used one of the twig looking stamp from Tall & Spiky, and some of the flowers from Doodle Dragon Fly to create a little blossom branch .. I then added a little bird from the Bee Nice sentiment set and tucked him in amongst the blossom branch.
