After watching Nikky's last show on C&C I was inspired to play with watercolours .. I used this gorgeous digi image from the Winnie in Winterland collection, and painted it with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints ... I got on much better with them than I have before, having a better understanding of how watercolours work thanks to Nikky ... will def be playing with this a lot more. I teamed it up with papers and foliage from the same collection.

Digi Chooseday - Week 30

Today I have made a very C&S card using an embellishment from the Winnie in Winterland collection, and a few of the florals, and I framed it using the elegant nest die I added a little sparkle using the SN clear sparkle pen.

Hi All,

Time for another Digi Chooseday ... which means discount day, whoop whoop!!! So its worth popping over the the blog to grab the code.

The challenge is Anything Goes, however the design team were asked to make a Thank You card. It was end of term for us in Scotland last week, so I made a card for the lollypop lady, she is so good with all the children, knows all their names, and stand out in all the weather the North of Scotland throws at her, so deserving of a medal, let alone a card!! ... All the kids refer to her as Mrs H .. so I made a personalised card for her.

I have used Lollipop Lady and stamped a little Thank You in her Lolly pop .. I then teamed it up with papers from Lil Miss Sugarpops 1 and the flowers are from Daisydays & I added some little resin flowers to the centres ... and finished off with gems.

Digi Chooseday Week 26

Hi All, Its Digi Chooseday again .. so please do pop over to the blog and grab the discount code so you can treat yourself to some yummy images. As always the challenge is anything goes, so I really hope you will join us as I love being inspired by your work.

This week the DT were asked to focus on the sentiment ... this is not my usual style of card,but I like the result, so its been good for me to get pushed out my comfort zone a little. The Sentiment and backing paper if from Winnie - Special Momments the little bit of stripy paper is from Octavia - Frosted Winter and the flowers are from Winnie - Sugar Sprinkles

I designed this card in Seriff CAP and printed of several layers so that I could build the design up, especially the flowers they have been decoupage up quite a bit and then covered with a sparkle pen.

Hello All,

As always the challenge is Anything Goes however the DT have been asked to use more than one image .. I have always loved creating random scenes with lots of images .. before the world of digi stamps, I used to mainly do that with stamping and masking ... however the Digi world has opened a whole new avenue to play. I have taken images from Octavia Moonfly  and Stamp Soup - Little Kingdom to create this scene, I have coloured it all up using Copic Markers, and as the scene is so busy I decided to keep the card C&S just using a few polkadoodle dies to embellish.

Digi Chooseday - Week 23

Hi There, Its time for another Digi Chooseday .... Yaaaay, it means discount day!! so please do pop over to the blog and grab your code. The theme as always is anything goes, however the DT were asked to make a shabby chic card.

To make mine I used the Helga collection, and played with a load of the embellies from that collection. I worked out the layout and details in Seriff. I then printed out multiple times so I could layer up. The watch I used UTE and then popped in the freezer so I could create a cracked effect. I then added gilding wax to the edges to bling it up a little.

Hi All,

Time for another Digi Chooseday, as always the Theme is anything Goes, however the Design Team were challenged to create something with Summer Colours. So what could be more summery than a day at the beach?? so I created this card using a gorgeous Meirebelle - Hello Sailor , & I teamed it with papers and a whole load of embellies from Winnie - Starfish & Sandcastles I then added some chunky Martha Stewart glitter in various colours to complete a fabby magical underwater world scene.

Digi Chooseday - Week 20

Today I am playing with the gorgeous Horace & Boo collection, which you can find here its sooooooooo adorable !!! I have used some of the embellies in the kit ... the balls of wool and made them a bit larger ... then using some gel medium and stuck down some embroidery threads over it to create the texture of wool ... I then added some faux stitching some paint splatters to finish it off.

For may make I have had a little play with digital crafting. I have used  Winnie Starfish & Sandcastle which you can find here and I used the film reel from the Winnie Sugar Sprinkle collection, which you can find here

I used Seriff CAP to blend some of the pictures in the Winnie starfish & Sandcastle collection & tried to make it look a bit like Winnie had made a scrapbook page of her Holiday.

Digi Chooseday - Week 16

Hi All .... Time for another Digi Chooseday as always the theme is Anything Goes. I really hope you will come and join us. As always Nikki is offering a fabulous discount for today only, so please do pop along to the blog to grab the discount code.

I love creating fantasy scenes when I am colouring. I have used the gorgeous Bella on a Swing which you can find here I put her on a slight angle so it looks like she is swinging .. then I coloured up with my copic markers ... I tried to make it look like she was swinging over the earth. I have then used a sentiment from the Rose budd collection, which you can find here  and the papers are from the Eden collection, which you can find here and then a little piece from the Magic garden collection.

I have done lots of inking with Distess Inks Picked Rasberry & Faded Jeans. I have used a Martha Stewart punch to create the lace edges and added a few little embellies, I hope you like.

I have coloured her up using copic markers and spica pens, to add a touch of sparkle. Unusually for me, I have kept the card very C&S ... I have used some of the scraps from pervious polkadoodle makes to create a few paper ribbons.
