Envelope Card Tag Leonie Style

Hi Everyone,

Just popping by to share a little tag I made. I have a video tutorial of this on my YouTube Channel, you can find that here 

I have created a little tag using Kraft Card. I embossed the card and brought out the detail with Gelatos and some gilding wax, I have used some of Leonie's stamps and dies to create embellishments for the tag.

August 2018 Take 5 Art Challenge

I created a page in my Junk and Disorderly Journal. I did some painting with a Pallet knife in the background, added some details with stencils and stamps and used the Posy Doodle kit from Polkadoodles to create some collage elements.

George and the Rainbow Tree

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with another YouTube video in this one I am doing some cool paint techniques using some cotton buds ( q tips ) 

I have also used my Fav stamp ( at this moment in time .. LOL :-) ) this was one of those sets that after I had made all the samples for the release on Hochanda I was really sad to have to put away and work on some other stuff, so it was really lovely to get him out and have another play. I have coloured him up using my Ecoline Markers.

Im on Youtube with a Polkadoodles Japanese Garden.

Hi Everyone,

So I have been brave and taken the plunge to start up a YouTube Channel .. Polkadoodles Challenge - Week 33

Hi Everyone,

Time for another challenge over at Polkadoodles. The challenge as always is Anything Goes, I really hope you will come and join us as I love being inspired by your work.

This week the DT were asked to make a circle card, so I took the opportunity to make a little shaker card, I have wanted to do that with this kit as soon as I got it but for some reason never got round to it. I used some of the toppers from the Posydoodles  collection. I used 2 of the same topper used one as the backing of the card and created a frame out. I fussy cut out the girl and added her over the top of the card .. I also fussy cut out some of the flowers to create embelishments, and finally I added some Nuvo drops over the sentiment.

Polkadoodles Gift Envelope

Hi There,

Just sharing a little gift envelope I made, this is quite a simple design, but I still love it. I stamped some little hearts and stars from the Winter Wishes stamp set with white embossing powder. I then rubbed over the stamping with spiced marmalade and picked raspberry distress inks .. I then used a little water to lift the ink out of the centre of the heats. I then added a few pink stars too. I stamped a pressie also with white embossing powder and coloured in co - ordinating colours.

Little Robin

Hi Everyone,

I loved making this Mixed Media piece. I picked up a little plaque thing from B&M bargains it was £1.60 .. and the little rectangle at the bottom swivels round to reveal a different message. I bought all of them when I saw them so I have another 3 in the loft ready to alter lol.

I started off by priming it by using Spray Gesso from Pinto ( love that stuff makes priming a piece soooo easy!! ) I then used the Poinsettia stencil and used some 3D embossing past through it .. when it had dried I coloured it us using some Dylusions Ink sprays. .. when that had dried I used the Winter/landscape Trees This time I put a Gel Medium through it, so it dried clear, & kept the colours of the background in it, I sprinkled a little glitter into it as it dried. Then to emphasise the design I went round the edges of the design using a inktense pencil. 

Then to decorate I used The Robin on a Branch Die & Stamp Set I die cut the branch & stamped out the little robin and coloured with my Ecoline Brush Pens. I then highlighted various areas using Nuvo Transparent liquid Pearls & finally added a sentiment from There is Snow Place Like Home

We Love to Create Challenge 11

Hi Everyone,

Its Time for another challenge over at We Love to Create. I am loving Mixed Media more and more, especially playing in my journal & if truth be told, I am slightly in love with this page, lol.

I used acrylic paint and dragged it across the page with a pallet knife. I then added some extra detail to the background using the Great Outdoors and Accents stencils. I then added some collage elements using the gorgeous Posy Doodle Paper Pack 2 I used the borders of some of the toppers to create the birdies legs .. I also wanted to them to have boots so cut out some quirky boot shapes with some of the scrap paper of the fussy cut elements.

Polkadoodledles ODS - Journal Page

Hi There,

Just popping by to share a journal page I have made using products from todays show. This is a page from my Junk and Disorderly journal. I started off applying some gesso to the back of the page .. I then added a little paint and lifted it off using a stencil and did a little stamping in the background using a grey Memento Ink Pad. I then die cut some circles in the larger ones I did some stenciling using my distress oxides. Finally I added a few die cuts to finish it off.

Polkadoodles ODS - Snow Gnomes at home

Hi Everyone,

Sharing another make from todays show on Hochanda with Polkadoodles. For this one I have used  the gorgeous houses and teamed it with the little Snow Gnomes aren't they Cute!! I have coloured with my Ecoline Pens and then splattered with some white paint and finally used Nuvo drops to their noses so that they are shiny.

Polkadoodles ODS - Key Holder

Hi everyone,

Sharing a mixed media project I made for the Hochanda ODS with Polkadoodles.

I bought this little key holder really cheaply at B&M bargins and altered it. I started off spraying with Gesso & then using the stencils from the show I put some texture paste on it. I then covered the whole think with coloured inks and highlighted the texture with guilding wax … I have stamped the little houses multiple times and coloured with my copic markers and layered it up. I then added Nuvo drops and glitter to create the snow.

Polkadoodles ODS Polar Bear

Hi All,

I am sharing another make from the Polkadoodles ODS .. for this one I have stamped the background using the most wonderful joy stamp set … I added 3 colours of distress oxides to the solid stamp to create the background, and then added the polar bear & created snow using nuvo drops and glitter.

Polkadoodles ODS - Altered Brush

Hello Everyone,

Well the time is finally here, the first ever Polkadoodles ODS has gone Live … we are so so very excited & there are loads of goodies to check out.

For this make I have made an Altered brush … I got a set of 3 cheap brushes from the pound shop, I covered in Gesso using Pinto spray gesso … I also added some texture paste through the stencil to add some extra interest .. I then coloured it up using some Kuretake Gansi Tambi watercolours. I then used the Lacy Poinsettia die and the flower die from the centre of the Fancy circles and layered them up … I also popped some sparkly leaves behind them ( they are also available from the Polkadoodles shop ) and finally I stamped the gnome snowmen onto shrink plastic and popped them on top of the white die cut snowflakes.

Polkadoodles - Week 31

Hello There, so its a big day for us today, its time for a new challenge over at Polkadoodles, but later on today we will be on Hochanda for our first ever ODS … eeeek!! so please do stay tuned for that!!

For my winter themed card this week I have created a circle card and have created a galaxy painting .. love that technique .. then I did some silhouette stamping using Winter Flurries stamp set and then I stamped and embossed onto acetate using Snowflake Garden
