Hello All,
My friend had a little girl last week. I had no baby girl cards in my stash, and I had to do one quickly and knew I did not have the time to "craft" one traditionally .... and yet I cant get a shop bought one now can I?
Serif to the rescue!! I have produced this card in Serif so it is completely flat. I have used a saturated canary image, which I then coloured using my prisma pencils.
The fab thing about doing a card in Serif is that I removed the name, and saved, then within seconds I changed all the colour ways, so I now have a blue, pink and neutral version saved in case of emergency!!
I did have a good long play in the loft last night ... but I am not finished, so hopefully I will have a handcrafted project to share with you soon.
Love to All
Hugs Juls

Hi Juls, this is so sweet, she'll love it! I've been a bad blogger this last year...I've been browsing and I LOVE what you did with the nursery, the owls are so cute and colorful! ~hugs
ReplyDeleteYou defo can't buy a shop one, I have gone there and thought, no way, I could buy 4/5 sheets of 12x12 for that and make a zillion plain cards. OK<so we have to put a bit more thought behind it but hey, I'm with you on that and glad that you have found a formula that works.keeleyxx
