Hello All,
Once again I find myself apologising for the fact I have not been in MIA in blogland. I have wrestled with myself as to whether I wanted to explain the reason why or not. I have come to the conclusion that I have received so much support here that I should just go for it.
I was expecting my first child, so at first I was finding it difficult to keep up with blogging and crafting as I was so tired that I was finding that I was preferring sleep than to craft. Sadly I have had a miscarriage, and so I have needed time to get my head round things. I spent a week away just to try and get a proper rest.
I am beginning to feel more myself, and I am sure I will get myself crafting again ...... and of course I am wanting to catch up with you all ..... and I will be popping round all your blogs again soon.
The card I have shown today is one I made a while ago with the most gorgeous LOTV image. and I coloured with copics....I liked the way the little scene turned out so I kept the embellishments to a minimum.
I promise I will catch up soon

OMG Juls what can I say, you have been one of the most supportive people I have met in blogland and I can't believe this has happened to you. I am crying my eyes out for you. I know that won't help you but believe me you will get through this with the support of your nearest and dearest. Time is a great healer and take all the time you need hun.

My heart goes out to you hun...I miscarried my second child and I was totally heart broken but then my gorgeous Bexx turned up...all I can say life throws some horrible dice sometimes.. but then good ones turns up...and I know it will happen to you too...

Oh Juls, I am so sorry to hear your news. I know how devastating losing your first child can be, it happened to me too, but now I have 2 fabulous grown up kids and grandchildren. I know it hurts but try and take heart and stay positive. Hopefully crafting will give you some time to heal and my prayers are with you for a happy outcome soon. Love your cute card and you have just inspired me for a DT piece I need to get ready - now looking for my LOTV stamps I haven't yet inked up.

Hi Juls, so sorry to hear about your loss. I know one friend who was told that particular baby wasn't meant to be and she had a son the same age as mine soon after. Belive me it's better to happen now and not after a full pregnancy - as I know. As Pinky said Mother Nature usually knows best. I hope you can get plenty of rest now and time to grieve for you and your husband.

ReplyDeleteI have tears in my eyes as i type this. I feel so sad for you. I can't imagine what you are going through.Just follow the Doctors advice and rest.
My sister had several miscarriages but now has 2 girls, 15 and 22.My mum lost a boy between my sister and me. I have never experienced a loss like that but when I was expecting my son, Daniel we were told to expect him to be born with deformities. He is now 20 and at Uni studying Film Production and Media and is a very bright boy. He has no deformities at all, apart from beeing very sickly as a young child.
The fact that you have been through this and still commented on mine, and others blogs, really means more to us than a normal comment would. Oh dear I am getting mushy now so will end. Take care

Oh Juls, I JUST read this and I am so sorry! I only have the experience of my friends with this but it is an emotional roller coaster. Just surround yourself with friends and family and allow yourself to feel. I think it's great that you shared because you have so many blog friends that are here for you.
