Thank you Amy

Hello All,

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to the lovely Amy.....I was so lucky to win some of her November Candy and I have used the fabulous stamp Eira that she gave me, on my first ever Art Journal Page.

I am so so nervous about posting this....I have never done an art journal before...this is not really my style at all but I would love to give it a go, I followed Gez last year as she did her pages, and so I would Love to join Kathryn in this challenge too........Hopefully by the time I reach December I may have improved somewhat, and I will probably look back on this page and laugh!!!

Also I wanted to say thank you for all the comments regarding the fact that I should share all styles of crafting on the same blog.....That is kind of what I wanted to do, I just needed reassurance that that was the right thing, so Thank you!!!

Thanks for looking!
Hugs Juls

  6. This is really wonderful. I love, love, love the journaling that you did on the left side. I definitely think you will enjoy this. Here's my take on posting different kinds of crafts- post it all- anything you make! I have adhd when it comes to crafts- I really can't decide on what I like best so I just throw it all in there. I think if you can put together beautiful cards like you do, then journaling is just another way of arranging elements in a pleasing way, which you obviously have a gift for. Sorry so long, but I really wanted to encourage you in your new journaling adventure- just beautiful!

  21. This is so cool looking Juls! I love your layout of the squares and how you've drawn a border on some and sewn around others, and the writing along the edge is fabulous! You've used Eira beautifully and I've never seen a style that you've tackled that you haven't done gorgeously and you make it look so easy! This art journal is way cool!

  30. I love your opening pages Jules, your stamp is beautiful. We will have to make sure that we hang on in there lol. I think it will be interesting to see how we improve 'cos I know I will do thing differently next month. Saying that, how it looks in my head and how it ends up on paper are two different things :o) x

  31. Thank you for the comment on my page :) I love your calendar page :) It looks so serene. In fact it was the first time I did a calendar page myself. I see that most people use acrylic paint on their pages and I used ink for the background. That explains the bright colors. To be honest I had no idea what I was doing ;)
