Artist Betty
Hello All,
I am still playing with my DTg stamps for Sugar Nellie....this little sweetie is Artist Betty by Kathy Hare available here
My first creation I have used quite a few of my goodies from my little shopping spree in Glasgow. The tag and papers are "echo park paper co - be mine" although I have to laugh at myself.....the papers are so nice I don't want to waste them...so most of this card has been made out of the packaging!! LOL!!!......I have used my little Kanban Flourish stamp with "Memento - rose red"......added some stitching with some glittery pink thread (also a purchase from Glasgow).....and a tiny scrap of velvet ribbon and a few pearls.
This is my entry for:
Totally Papercrafts - Add a Heart
I also thought this image would be really cute for a little art book.....I am not quite sure of this creation.....I have made this for a friend as I would really like to get her started art journaling, as she does have a really creative side....and she also finds writing out her feelings to be therapeutic for her....I realise this is a bit on the cute side for an art journal, but she does adore all things cute, so I think it will work.
I have made this book totally from scrap card and paper.....despite the fact this is now the 3rd book I have done like this...my scrap box doesn't seem any lighter!!......the books get smaller each time as I have used most of my Large Scraps!! LOL
As Well as using Artist Betty, I have borrowed the art picture from the Simply Sassy - Artistic Goddess....they have been coloured with copics...for the lettering I have used some "K&CO" stickers......... I just added loads of ribbon down the spine and attached a little shrinky...( I am quite addicted to the whole shrinky thing at the mo)
Thanks for Looking
Hugs Juls
