Hi All,
So excited that I actually have enough posts on my blog this year, that I can look through and choose my Favorite makes of the year to join in with Debbie's fav 5 .... I have sneeked an extra 2 in this year !!
Love this one!! .. Image Tiddly Inks, I coloured it during a colouring session and then was so delighted when I found papers that matched perfectly :-)
This is so fabulously girly .... love that dress - image scraperry/Sugar Nellie
I like this one, as I had just learned how to colour dip died hair, and love the whole monochrome look with the tiny splash of colour - Image krista Smith/Sugar Nellie
Not my usual girly image .... but do love it none the less, love the combo of the papers, its so bright and cheerful, think it was well liked by my blogging friends too as it received a lot of comments, on this one. Image - hobbyhouse
Fairly Simple card, but I love how this turned out - Image Saturated Canary
Couldnt resist sneeking a couple of extra's in ..... I so love this image, being a tea Jenny it totally appeals ... again kept the image as the main focus and the details minimal. Image - Saturated Canary
This one is a very different look for me, but something about it just really appeals. I was bought a full set of inktence pencils for my anniversary and this was the first time I had a play with them .... really need to get them out a bit more ... this that may be a goal for 2015!!
As I was looking through my cards from last year the main thing I have noticed is the improvement in my colouring skills. This is down to taking part in the classes over at Kit and Clowder If you love colouring and look at other colourists and think I wish I could colour like that, I can not recommend these classes highly enough, its amazing how quickly they improve your skills. Just as a brief illustration of that I thought I would show you a couple of before's and afters so you can see what a difference it makes:
Here is the my offical one from before and after I took the skin and hair class ... love that I have been taught to do no lines colouring :-)
And these are a couple that I did just for fun as I am working on the clothing class.
This has been a loooong post so thanks for staying with me,
Crafty Hugs to you all
