Thank you all for your supportive comments regarding my lost mojo, and for all the fab tips....hope I get it back soon, I have those 5 new paper stacks to play with!!! I have eventually managed to make a card, but I am really not happy with it....so I am being brave and showing it here!!
I have used one of my new paper stacks "colorbok - moonlight".......and this fab Leanne Ellis stamp, can you believe this is the first time I have inked her?!!! I have been so busy making things with her sister stamp that she has been neglected! I have coloured with copics and added a little stickes.
I have made the flowers using my new spellbinder dies, the ribbon was in my stash, and I have hand stitched it down with a little embroidery thread.
this is my entry for:

As a quick p.s - also thank you for your encouraging words regarding the weight loss programme. I have tried before, but I am feeling very motivated at the mo, so I think that hopefully it will happen this time! Last week I lost 6lb....I am trying to cut down portion size and I have been exercising a bit more....I have been doing the 30 day challenge on the EA active on the wii - its a great programme I would recommend. I have done my workout on that today, and plan to go to the gym tonight to do a body attack class......only 2 stone 8lb to go!!.......maybe I should offer candy when I reach my target weight!!......

Well for no mojo you have done a cracking job here Jules, the effect with the ribbon is beautiful, and the flowers look gorgeous and blend lovely with the image...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the diet, I really need to loose some weight, I think it's all the time blogging in my case,far too many hours infront of the PC, I have started helping my friend in her craft shop just to get me out of the house more. Apart from the great company, I don't feel so lazy lately, so thats a good thing....
I could find plenty of job's around the house but the PC is alway's tempting me away...I tried to set myself a programme so to speak but that didn't work, I think I need a time lock on the computer so it comes on for so long a day...lol

I think your card is gorgeous, I never blogged or made a decent card while you where away. It's horrible when you can't get motivated, that was the first time for me. The new range of lili of the valley stamps helped me.
Good luck with the diet but don't starve yourself, not even posh looks good as a stick insect.

Hi Juls, firstly I cannot believe that you have lost your mojo on this one, it is just stunning! I have a whole set of LE stamps not yet inked up and I just love what you have done with this one.
