Hello All,
This is Just a quick post....I am in the middle of trying to pack for my holiday tomorrow...we are off to Canada...eek! I am so excited and nervous, I have never done a long hall flight before. So I am doing the mad rush of packing cleaning and getting work all up to date and sorted for the lovely lady that is covering for me...so I decided to grab a cup of tea and have a quick break.........
I thought I would share with you a card that I made last week..
I am still working on wedding cards as I will need a LOT this year...I have done 9 so far, I recon I will need at least another 20, but I will probably do closer to 40 cards in total to be on the safe side. I have kept this card quite simple...I spent ages making this dress...please don't ask what possessed me, I just took a notion.... The Lovely Bernie, sent me some netting I have never used it before on making cards (I have used it plenty for petticoats of wedding dresses..but never on a small scale)...so I was pushed out of my comfort zone a little.I stamped it out using this fab image from "Inkadinkado" (This is one of my stamps from the early days of my crafting) I stamped it out 5 times and then stitched together using invisible thread and then added the beading and ribbon
Unfortunately when I went to put it on a card, it looked kind of grey and nasty, so I stamped it out again in pink pearl card, and attached the dress to that.
The Frame is from "Kanban" and I embossed some pearl card with a cuttlebug folder.....I will be interested to see what you all think....
So much for a quick post...I have been waffling on here for ages!!! I might get a chance to have a quick nip into blogland before I go, but if not I will catch up with you all when I get back....i best get back to all my chores!

WOW...so many wedding cards to make....thats quite a challenge!! lol Have a wonderful time in Canada...don't worry about the flight...it will be over before you know it!! And don't forget to check online to get a list of craft stores near where you'll be staying...if they're anything like the "states" you'll be AMAZED!! Oh yeah, maybe bring an extra case too...!! bx
