little owl



It feels like It has been ages since I have been here in Blogland! Sorry all..been really busy with work. Also at the weekend I was down in Glasgow to go and see Strictly Come Dancing!! which was Fab - u - lous!!!!! Loved it so much. I did manage a craft shop, but I wasn't feeling that well so I walked round it in a daze, and just bought some copic paper and a green copic pen! a bit of a waste but then I am sure I will get chance to go again!!

Now to my card...once again working from my scraps so I have no idea what the papers are! The gorgeous owl is a Sugar Nellie image that was free on a CS magazine last year sometime! (yes I baught the magazine for the stamp!!!!......I have a subscription now which is fab!) I have stamped it about 4 times and built up the layers..coloured in copics!!

The zig zag stitching has been stamped with a HOTP stamp and finally I have added some peel off swirls and a few gems!!

Alphabet - P is for Pink
Cup Cake - keep it simple
Sophistiocat - Stitching (real or faux)

    Gorgeous card Juls. Love the way you have layered the owl and love the colour too. The black swirl makes him pop nicely. It was a shame that you were feeling poorly at the Strictly show.     I bought the mag for this stamp too, and now, like you I'm a subscriber.
    Brilliant card, as always. I love the stitching stamp you've used. It looks like that could save a lot of time and you can have stitches in any colour you like.
