Finally A Card

Wow, How are you all? I have had a majorly busy week last week I had no time to craft, and didn't get much blogging done, so it feels great to finally have something to share with you all.

I have made this card for a few challenges:

Penny Black - Song Title/ Lyrics

The song I have chosen is "Tea For Two" - Doris Day....I hope this will not be considered cheating for choosing an old song, Like Simon choosing a song for X Factor from "Gumbo" Although personally I was with Simon on that one, but was shocked at what he did in the results show!! Any Hoo.....Even though I am only in my early 30's I happen to Love Doris Day, I remember sitting watching all the musicals with my Gran, I know all the songs, and I have a collection of her DVD's ( I realise that confession is just a little bit sad!)

Allsorts - Bring out the Bling

I hope I have enough Bling on the card! I had planned a huge swirl of gems, but I actually preferred the card without it so I took it of again. I have however found one of the sparklist ribbons at the bottom of my ribbon jar....I think it was from "crafty bits" Its left over from a tsv from qvc. I have also added some stickles and some green "Kanban" Gems

Abc - Green

The papers i have used are form "K&Co - wedding collection" and everything has have the edges tinted with "distress ink - shabby shutters"

My Time To Craft - Scallops.

I have used some embossed scalloped edging from "Craftworkcards" and have inked over with "distress ink - shabby shutters" and edged around with a black pen.
