This is the card I have made using the sketch over at http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ It is just about recognisable I got my proportions a bit wrong but I quite like the way it turned out!
I have used one of my new nellies, I have cut out that cat and chopped of the wings, I always like to try and use stamps in a slightly different way. I have coloured her using my "whispers pens" The oval shapes are bits left over from old aperture cards I have inked the main one with "distress ink - worn lipstick and shabby shutters" the background one is just the shabby shutters and has been put through an embossing cuttlebug folder and then sanded off a little.
The papers are "basic grey - lemonade" and the little flourish stamp is from " stamptivity" the flowers and swirls are from "prima" and the little brads in the centre are "basic grey"
The ribbon is leftover from the very gorgeous kit sent to me by Stephanie.
I love this image! I think her eyes are really quirky so I have tried to emphasise that by putting "Anita's glaze" over her eyes and lips. The frill of her dress has been stamped twice to add a little dimension, and everything has been covered in lots and lots of stickles!!
And I think that has been me waffling on far to long now!!....
