Digi Choosday - Week 48

Hello All .... Well its Digi Choosday again!! Which means lots of inspiration and a fabulous discount too ... yaaaay!!!! so please do pop over to the blog to grab todays code.

As always the challenge is Anything Goes, and I have gone for a whole mixed media thing ... I have used Ula's Life I printed her and some papers out onto rice paper, I stitched some detail onto her crown and dress & did some beadwork ... I also overlayed lace onto her dress & finally did some over stamping using Belle Papillion stamps & I finished it off using a large rose from Polkadoodles.

GDT at We Love to Create

Hi All,

I'm really delighted to have been asked to be a GDT at the We Love to Create Challenge blog. I love Mixed media ... and this time enjoyed playing & experimenting in my journal.

I used lots of tags and chipboard letters as a base to create texture, and then covered over it all with a layer of white gesso. I then used some Lindy's Stamp Gang magicals, just sprinkled some of the powder over and sprayed with water and watched the magic happen. I emphasised the edges of the tags, by going round the edges with an inktense watercolour pencil.

I did some over stamping with the text script from Belle Papillion and used the butterflies as a feature ( they have been coloured using SN sparkle pens ) and then finally added a sentiment.

Digi Chooseday - Week 47

Hi All,

So its time for another Digi Choosday, please do pop over to the blog to take advantage of this weeks discount. The theme as always is anything goes, so I do hope you will come and join in the fun.

This week I have tried to create a winter themed card in sepia tones. I have used the pre coloured January  - Perfectly balanced I have used the paper Frame and Flowers from Winnie White Christmas and have embellished using some of the new embellishments available at Polkadoodles Glittered large branch and you can find the pine cones here

Old Jeans

 

Hello Its Ruby Rainbow Sparkle here, today I am here with one of the strangest makes I have ever made, lol :-)

I have created a mixed media canvas using an old pair of jeans. I started off by slapping fabric paint over it. I have used Dotty about Flowers I stamped onto Fabric and coloured with fabric paint. I then did some stitched detail. When I had done that I painted the reverse of the fabric with a solution of PVC & Water ... when it had dried I cut out and used to embellish my canvas.

I also layered up some of the Fourni papers and The Magic Sparkle Sentiment Toppers.

Digi Choosday Week 46

The DT were asked to use lots of sparkle I have used the gorgeous January Pockets Full of Love and I have coloured her up using my Copic Markers .. I teamed her up with some papers from Ula's Life I then went mad with various texture pastes and glitters ... I used some of the fabulous embellishments from Polkadoodles Glitter branch spray and Curly Roses I then sprayed over some of it using a Dylusion spray.

Itsy Ditsy

Its Ruby Rainbow Sparkle here again,

Today I am here to show off the gorgeous papers from Stampin Unicorn, which you can find at Hochanda and from our Etsy store.

These papers are just lush and are fabulous quality as you can see they have withstood being run under the sewing machine and I have played with watercolours on them too and they reacted brilliantly so perfect for all your crafty needs.

 

For this one I have used the gorgeous Itsy Ditsy Papers and have used the embellishment pack and the toppers grab bag.
