Digi Choosday - week 22

This week our Jan challenged us all to  use something not for its normal purpose, I realised how much we do that in papercraft anyway, buttons, lace, feathers e.c.t are part of our normal crafty stash ( just shows how adaptable and creative we all are ) I really wanted to think out the box for this one, so I went for a walk and picked up some twigs, I have then wrapped them with pink string & dry brushed with Gesso. I also used some packaging on the back of my card to add a little texture.

I then used some of the floral elements from the gorgeous Magic Garden collection to decorate the card.

Digi Chooseday Week 20

Hi All,

The DT were asked to follow a Shabby Chic theme ... For this card I used elements from the Rose Budd collection http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/downloads-printables-store/download-collections/rose-budd-collection/ which is perfect for shabby chic, I tore all the papers and distressed the edges and layered them all up. I then fussy cut the violin so I could give it some added dimension & I used flowers from the Helga collection to embellish.

Hi All,

The theme as always is anything goes, however the DT were asked to follow the theme of embossing, dry or heat embossing. I have used an embossing folder to create a texture background ( unfortunately it doesn't show up too well in the picture, but it is there lol ) and I have used some of the fabulous pre coloured images from the Horace and Boo collection.

The challenge as always is Anything Goes, however the DT were asked to do lace, I don't tend to use lace and ribbons, although I always think they look beautiful, I struggle to make it work on m creations, so I was pushed a little out of my comfort zone ... I just popped a little bit of lace as one of the background layers.

The DT were asked to use flowers ... soooooo many to choose from in the PD collections, however I opted for the Magic Garden collection ... I have created the card on Seriff but printed out mulitiple payers and shaped the flowers to add lots of dimension.

Digi Choosday Week 6

Hi All,

Its Digi Choosday again ... Yaaaay!!! so please do pop over to the blog to grab today's discount code & maybe treat yourself to some gorgeous crafty images to play with.

The Theme this week as always is anything goes. However the DT were asked to follow the theme reuse/recycle. Now I have boxes filled with stuff that I categorise as " I could do something with that " ... so I rummaged through that, and pulled out various lids off boxes and created a shadow box with them. I also grabbed some of my broken Jewellery to use as embellishments. The boxes I painted with Black Gesso & then edged with gilding wax.

Then as a further challenge to myself, I decided not to print out any more Polkadoodles goodness, but rather to flick through my leftovers from previous projects and use that instead. I still had a few bits from the Winnie in Wonderland collection printed out .. so used that. After I put everything together I added gold splashes to finish it off.

Digi Choosday - Week 4

Hi All,

Today I have used the gorgeous Horace & Boo collection, as well as the most adorable images, this kit has the most gorgeous, lush papers. I have layered up the papers in order to frame the image, used some flowers from the kit and added little buttons. I then added some clouds using the fluffy cloud die.

I have based my Thank you card on the gorgeous January - See the Signs I have coloured her up using my Copic Markers. I stamped up the Sentiment using Elegant Alphabet I then teamed it up with some papers from the Stampin Unicorn, I used Wonerland & Fourni and I added some flowers from the gorgeous Pretty Paper Flowers I also added a few extra details with the Birdhouse Doublet Dies and Elegant Lamplight & Gate and finally I stamped round the edges using Doodle Stitched Borders

Digi Choosday - Week 49

Hi All,

Time for another Digi Choosday, For this weeks make I have used Winnie in Winterland, and done some layering in Seiff and played with the transparency settings in order to create my background .. I then I used the pre coloured Winnie - Rolling Snowballs and framed her using some winter roses. Then I added a whole load of sparkle to give it a real sparkly wintery feel.

Hello All .... Well its Digi Choosday again!! Which means lots of inspiration and a fabulous discount too ... yaaaay!!!! so please do pop over to the blog to grab todays code.

As always the challenge is Anything Goes, and I have gone for a whole mixed media thing ... I have used Ula's Life I printed her and some papers out onto rice paper, I stitched some detail onto her crown and dress & did some beadwork ... I also overlayed lace onto her dress & finally did some over stamping using Belle Papillion stamps & I finished it off using a large rose from Polkadoodles.

Digi Choosday Week 42

Hello All,

Well its another Digi Choosday, which means time for a fabby discount, so please do pop over to the blog so you can grab the code and treat yourself to some gorgeous crafty goodies. The theme as always is anything goes but the DT have been asked to make a card using Autumn Colours.

I have pulled out one of my Favourite Polkadoodles collections Winnie in Wonderland
I have really gone all out on this and pulled loads of elements together and I must say I had a complete blast ... I have used some of the papers, some toppers and some ephemera ... The edges have been hand stitched with gold thread, I have added a bit of black gesso to the background, everything has been edged with gold gilding wax and then completed with paint splatters.

Occasionally I make something I really love &this is one of those .... I think I will need to re create this one so I can have as a journal page & keep, lol!!

Digi Choosday Week 41

The DT this week were asked to use lots of white with a hint of another colour. I have used the gorgeous peacock from the Dollie goes East collection. I printed it out on a lower transparency, and then highlighted with silver pen, I then coloured touches of it with prisma pencil, then overlayed with a clear SN sparkle pen, added some loose glitter and then some gem stones so lots and lots of bling.

I used a Polkadoodles Die to frame her and teamed with papers from the Winnie White Christmas collection
