The same but different.

Hello All,

Well I am back home again with a computer that works at a normal rate!! whooo hooo!!! I am still trying to play catch up, but I will be round to visit you all soon....I am still catching up on work stuff and housework e.c.t...but I am getting there, I actually got to the bottom of my ironing pile for the first time since I can remember so I am feeling very pleased with myself!!

Anyway onto my cards....yes still wedding, I have now reached number 25, but the first wedding is in 2 weeks, so I know all my friends will be asking for them very soon, I am getting a bit panicky about getting the last 15 done!

These were really simple, but hopefully still nice...I had some "craftwork cards" scallop cards and squares, so I have just created a fold back, done a little matting an layering with some gorgeous pearlised paper which I got from my trip to Craft World, in Glasgow....fabulous shop, I Love it!! Both the images are from "Sassy Studio Design" and I have coloured with copics, and a glitter pen to highlight the dresses. Finally I have punched out some flowers, and coloured them with copics to coordinate with the images.

This is my entry for:

ABC - Zig Zag card (it is a z shape, I have just not photographed it very well....sorry!)
Stamp Something - Something flowery
Totally Gorjuss - Congratulations
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Anything Goes - Punches

Once again, thanks for looking!!

And as a quick P.S I have lost another 7lb so that is me now at a stone and a half, the half way mark so I am well excited.....now I guess I better get going do a workout, and get my work done!!!

Something Blue

Hello All...well its been an age since I have been here....life has just been so hectic!! I am also down in Perth for the week visiting my inlaws. I work from home over the Internet, so I am still working while I am here. They do have Internet but it is really slow, so driving me crazy, and I am doing my best to catch up with you all.

Had a little trip to Stampaholics in Perth yesterday and spent far too much!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have made this card using my new papers "GCD Studios - Ella Blue" The stamp is one I have had forever "whipper snapper - bride's back" which I have coloured with copics and then added some stickles.

Just Playing

Hello All....

Well, not a wedding card!! I am just in love with this fab bird cadge image, and I really fancied just having a play.

the background paper, the mat and the main image have all been created using "Kanban - Peacock" stamp set and "distress ink - Spun sugar" I think this could become a new fav!!!...with a quicky glue pen I added a little glitter to the main image.

As the background paper was quite busy I wanted to keep the layout simple so I have just added some lace and a few pearls for finishing touches.

This is my entry for:

Crafty Cardmakers

Sweet Stamping challenge - things with wings
One Stop Craft - monochromatic

Once again thanks for looking......now, I guess I better get back to those wedding cards!!

Birdhouse Wedding

Hi all, 2nd post for today, and I am back with.......Surprise, Surprise....yes another wedding card!!! This is my 20th, so I am now half way there!!! so I am afraid I will still be boring you all with wedding cards for a while yet!

For this card I have used some "Kanban" stamps which I have inked up with "Brilliance - pearlescent orchid & pearlescent olive". The little birds inside the cadge are from "Creative expressions"......unfortunately I have stamped one of the birds a little squint so it looks a bit more like it is been attacked, as opposed to some nice romantic love birds...which was the look I was going for!......I would have stamped it again but the birds were a bit of an afterthought, and I had already cut out the cadge, and I couldn't be bothered to do it again.

For the embossed detail I have used a "cuttlebug" embossing folder.

Finally I added some vellum flowers, and a few pearls, which I coloured with copics...you cant see the colour too much which is what I wanted, the pearls were just a little too white on their own, and finally I added a peel off message which has been coloured with copics.

This is my entry for:

Charisma Cardz - Watch the Birdy
Totally Papercrafts - Swirls and pearls

Sugar Nellie Meets Magnolia For The Perfect Wedding.

Hello All,

Well here is my latest wedding card....I am really not sure about it at all. The idea was great in my head, but I don't really like the way it has turned out.

The background stamp is from "Magnolia" and the fab wedding couple is "Sugar Nellie" I have stamped it onto pearl card and coloured with copics.

To Create the shaped card I have used " spellbinders nestabilities - labels 1" and the flowers have been created using "spellbinders shapeabilities - flower creations 3"

this is my entry for:

Allsorts - create a scene
Tuesday Taggers - make a scene

Acetate Wedding

Hello All.....well I am back to weddings, I just cant help myself !!!! I have so many ideas for wedding cards floating around my head that I have become incapable of creating any other type of card!..........and before I go on.......how do you actually go about photographing a see through card!!!

I saw this Sassy Studio Design, and just HAD to have it! I have coloured with my copics and added some loose glitter.

The Acetate was from a Kanban kit that I bought forever ago, infact I forgot I had this, but I discovered it, as I was once again trying to reorganize some boxes....and the flowers are from an old Dawn Bibby kit.....and the gems have been coloured with copics so they would match.

This is my entry for:

Dare to be Sassy Thursdays

365 cards - Something old,new,borrowed, blue

Thanks for popping by and having a look at my creation, its much appreciated!

Its not a wedding card.......

Hello All......yes shock horror, I have no wedding card today, I have done about 18 now, so another 22 or so to go, I have since been asked for some blank cards, baby girl, new home and cards for men...(eek, that's the hardest one...) and I seam to have become incapable of making any other type of card, except wedding!!!!.....

For this card, I have used this Fabulous Krafting Kimmie image,She has been stamped and coloured about 5 times to created the dimension, I have coloured using copics and then have added touches of sparkle.

The paper is "Papermania - Hint of pink" as the paper is quite busy I have kept the layout simple!....the Little flowers came as part of the papermania kit....I just added a few extra gems to bling it up a little.

This is my entry for:

Bunny Zoe's crafts - Nice and Girly
Papertake Weekly - In Stitches
Fab & Funky - sew in sew
Twisted Thursday - Sparkles
Alphabet - J is for Jewls
Oh Alice - Twinkle Twinkle
Abc - X is for Xtra dimension.

As a quick P.S, as some of you know when I came back from Holiday I decided drastic action was needed and I have been on a healthy eating plan, and doing more exersise...I didn't want to bore you all with a weekly update, however today was wiegh day.....and in 5 weeks I have reached my first Milestone and I have lost a stone.....whoo hoo!!!!!!.....now just 2 more to go!!!!
