Envelope Card Tag Leonie Style

Hi Everyone,

Just popping by to share a little tag I made. I have a video tutorial of this on my YouTube Channel, you can find that here 

I have created a little tag using Kraft Card. I embossed the card and brought out the detail with Gelatos and some gilding wax, I have used some of Leonie's stamps and dies to create embellishments for the tag.

August 2018 Take 5 Art Challenge

Hi All,

Sharing another project, I filmed the process of me creating this page and you can find it on YouTube
I created a page in my Junk and Disorderly Journal. I did some painting with a Pallet knife in the background, added some details with stencils and stamps and used the Posy Doodle kit from Polkadoodles to create some collage elements.

George and the Rainbow Tree

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with another YouTube video in this one I am doing some cool paint techniques using some cotton buds ( q tips ) 

I have also used my Fav stamp ( at this moment in time .. LOL :-) ) this was one of those sets that after I had made all the samples for the release on Hochanda I was really sad to have to put away and work on some other stuff, so it was really lovely to get him out and have another play. I have coloured him up using my Ecoline Markers.

Im on Youtube with a Polkadoodles Japanese Garden.

Hi Everyone,

So I have been brave and taken the plunge to start up a YouTube Channel .. I have created this little Japanese Garden using the gorgeous Great Out Doors Stencil from Polkadoodles and the gorgeous Delicate Doodles stamp set. I have created a background using mt Ecoline Pens and some distress oxides. and the flower embellishments are all stamped and watercoloured.

Polkadoodles Challenge - Week 33

Hi Everyone,

Time for another challenge over at Polkadoodles. The challenge as always is Anything Goes, I really hope you will come and join us as I love being inspired by your work.

This week the DT were asked to make a circle card, so I took the opportunity to make a little shaker card, I have wanted to do that with this kit as soon as I got it but for some reason never got round to it. I used some of the toppers from the Posydoodles  collection. I used 2 of the same topper used one as the backing of the card and created a frame out. I fussy cut out the girl and added her over the top of the card .. I also fussy cut out some of the flowers to create embelishments, and finally I added some Nuvo drops over the sentiment.

Polkadoodles Gift Envelope

Hi There,

Just sharing a little gift envelope I made, this is quite a simple design, but I still love it. I stamped some little hearts and stars from the Winter Wishes stamp set with white embossing powder. I then rubbed over the stamping with spiced marmalade and picked raspberry distress inks .. I then used a little water to lift the ink out of the centre of the heats. I then added a few pink stars too. I stamped a pressie also with white embossing powder and coloured in co - ordinating colours.

Little Robin

Hi Everyone,

I loved making this Mixed Media piece. I picked up a little plaque thing from B&M bargains it was £1.60 .. and the little rectangle at the bottom swivels round to reveal a different message. I bought all of them when I saw them so I have another 3 in the loft ready to alter lol.

I started off by priming it by using Spray Gesso from Pinto ( love that stuff makes priming a piece soooo easy!! ) I then used the Poinsettia stencil and used some 3D embossing past through it .. when it had dried I coloured it us using some Dylusions Ink sprays. .. when that had dried I used the Winter/landscape Trees This time I put a Gel Medium through it, so it dried clear, & kept the colours of the background in it, I sprinkled a little glitter into it as it dried. Then to emphasise the design I went round the edges of the design using a inktense pencil. 

Then to decorate I used The Robin on a Branch Die & Stamp Set I die cut the branch & stamped out the little robin and coloured with my Ecoline Brush Pens. I then highlighted various areas using Nuvo Transparent liquid Pearls & finally added a sentiment from There is Snow Place Like Home
