I am so sorry I am still playing catch up with you all, things have been busy, so I have not been in blogland as often as I would like!
I am really into masking at the mo..... Many of you asked me if i had masked out my Simply Sassy card...which you can see Here.... and the answer is yes!.....The idea for this one was lots of princesses at a royal ball....
I have used " Krafting Kimmie" "Paper Artsy" "Kanban" and "Darcies" stamps for this picture. I have coloured it all with copics...Colour tinted the edge with "distress ink - tumbled glass" and I have used "memnto - rose red" for the stamped flowers....again, because I liked the way the picture looked I decided to keep the card fairly simple.....at one point I had my usual flowers creating the easel, but I didn't like the way it looked so I pulled it all apart and went for the ribbon detail instead.
This is my entry for:
Woodware USA - Anything Goes
Alphabet - R is for ribbon
Allsorts - Card for a Teenager
Paper Sundaes - How Charming
Wild Orchid - Anything Goes
Thanks for looking
Hugs Juls

ReplyDeleteJul's this is wonderful, so much work ant time in this card I bet. I have been having a play with masking a couple of images this week and it's not easy, I think I could do with investing in a stamp positioner.I saw someone with a homemade one from lego would you believe, I will have to take a trip up the loft to see if the kids have any from when they were little....lol
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful chick, so well thought out and executed....
